Aspion Search is currently seeking a talented Production Manager to join a rapidly growing, ambitious company within a niche sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, coordinate, and supervise production activities to meet daily and weekly production targets. Ensure all fire doors are manufactured to comply with relevant fire safety standards (BS EN, UL, NFPA).
2. Lead and manage the production team, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and daily oversight. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
3. Implement and enforce strict quality control processes to ensure all products meet fire door certification requirements. Work with quality assurance teams to identify and address non-conformities.
4. Identify inefficiencies in the production process and implement continuous improvement initiatives to maximize output, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Use lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma principles where appropriate.
5. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and components, ensuring that supply meets production demand. Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels and negotiate favorable terms.
6. Ensure that all safety protocols are followed on the production floor, minimizing workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for all employees. Stay up to date with health and safety regulations related to manufacturing.

About You:

• Proven track record of managing production processes, meeting targets, and driving efficiency improvements.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
