Fabric Engineer – FM Service Provider - Corporate HQ - Euston - Up to £42,000 per annum + OT

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated near Euston, London.

CBW is recruiting a Fabric Engineer to work in a corporate headquarters near Euston Station, based as a single-man engineer looking after 1 floor. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of most general fabric trades and have experience working within a corporate office. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £42,000, overtime and further training.

Package & Working hours

• Up to £42,000
• Monday to Friday 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
• 25 days holiday + Bank holidays

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• General fabric repairs
• Furniture moves porterage
• Painting & Decorating
• Basic lighting
• Fixing Furniture
• Hanging Pictures & Shelves
• Maintain and update Log books
• Assist the maintenance team on site e.g PPMs, fire alarm tests, tap temp checks, flushing
• Escort sub-contractors
• To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks, making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.

Requirements

• Experience working within a corporate office
• Painting & Decorating qualification or background (Desirable)
• Knowledge of commercial building maintenance
• An understanding of most building fabric duties
• Good communication skills
• Health & Safety experience
• Basic PC literacy, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use)
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritise workload
