Job summary
A leading technology firm in Belfast is seeking a Senior UX Designer for a 6-month contract. This role involves leading UX design on complex enterprise products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving design initiatives. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience, expert Figma skills, and a passion for user-centered design. The position offers a competitive daily rate with a hybrid work environment, requiring attendance in the Belfast office one or two days a week.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior UX Designer to join a well-established, product-led technology organisation working on enterprise platforms. This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys tackling intricate workflows, internal tools, and large‑scale systems used daily by thousands of users.
You'll join a collaborative product team focused on reimagining and evolving an existing enterprise experience. Working across discovery and delivery, you'll shape intuitive, scalable solutions that help users work more efficiently and confidently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading UX design on complex B2B and internal‑facing products
- Driving discovery initiatives, from early research through to high‑fidelity design
- Collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and business stakeholders
- Conducting and synthesising user research and usability testing
- Designing scalable information architectures and navigation systems
- Contributing to and evolving the organisation's design system
- Facilitating workshops and design sessions to align stakeholders and uncover user needs
- Championing user‑centred, evidence‑based design decisions
- 4+ years’ experience designing digital products,
- Expert proficiency in Figma
- Confident communicator, able to present and defend design decisions
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced, cross‑functional Agile teams
- Experience conducting and applying qualitative and quantitative user research
- Able to work weekly from the Belfast office as part of a hybrid setup
- Work on high‑impact, enterprise‑scale products
- Collaborative, design‑led environment with strong product maturity
