Production Scheduler
Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Production Scheduler in Witham. The role involves planning and coordinating production schedules, liaising with departments, and managing client information. Ideal candidates will have experience in production scheduling, strong communication skills, and advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency. This is a full-time role with a salary between £30,000 and £35,000.

Skills
A client of ours in the Witham area is recruiting a Production Scheduler to join their team ASAP. This is a full-time, temporary‑to‑permanent position working Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, with pay ranging from £14.42 to £16.82 per hour (£30,000 – £35,000 per annum) depending on experience.
- Planning and coordinating production schedules to meet customer and project deadlines
- Liaising with multiple departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely shipping
- Managing client information, purchase orders, and supply coordination
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels and material availability
- Compiling data for KPI reports and attending progress meetings with teams and clients
- Previous experience in production scheduling or planning (manufacturing or engineering preferred)
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, IF statements, etc.)
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure
- Positive and professional attitude with the ability to build strong working relationships
