Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Crane Maintenance Technician in South Shields. This temp-to-perm role offers 07:00 – 15:30 working hours with potential overtime. The technician will service and repair the fleet, diagnose faults, and keep records. HGV experience and a full UK driving license are essential. - Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills for both mechanical and electrical faults.
- Full UK driving license (essential for field-based work).
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair the company’s fleet to ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and compliant.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
- Carry out planned maintenance schedules as well as reactive repairs.
- Work both at the depot and on-site depending on operational demand.
- Keep accurate service and repair records.

TEXO Recruitment are currently looking for a Crane Maintenance Technician to join one of our external clients located in South Shields. This is an excellent opportunity offering a temp-to-perm based position, working 07:00 – 15:30 with additional overtime available.
