Job summary
A leading medical supplier in England is looking for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join their hospital pharmacy. The candidate will dispense medication, manage stock, and handle invoicing. Required qualifications include NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services and experience in a customer-focused environment. Strong interpersonal skills and confidentiality understanding are essential. This position is contracted for 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

Rowlands Pharmacy are currently looking for an experienced NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services to work as a Pharmacy Assistant in the {Branch Name} hospital pharmacy. You will participate in all branch processes and establish relationships with customers, patients, healthcare professionals and Trust colleagues.
- Dispensing medication on outpatient prescriptions
- Stock ordering and management
- Invoicing and financing deliveries
- Other duties associated with working in a busy outpatient pharmacy
- NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent
- Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification
- Evidence of qualifications held will be required for the successful candidate
- Experience in a customer-focused environment
- Strong understanding of confidentiality
- Ability to handle medications accurately
- Able to demonstrate self-motivation with good interpersonal skills
- Understanding of confidentiality

Total Hours Contracted: 40hrs
Working Pattern: Mon - Fri - 8hrs
