A rural healthcare practice in Northamptonshire is seeking a Full-time Salaried GP to join their friendly team. The role involves undertaking face-to-face and telephone consultations, assisting with triage, and making home visits as needed. The ideal candidate will be GMC registered, fully qualified, and have recent primary care experience. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the quality of care for approximately 10,800 patients. The practice is looking for a salaried GP to join our team of currently 2 salaried GP's and 4 Partners. The position will be 6 sessions per week, for a permanent contract.
Undertaking 15-minute face‑to‑face appointments with patients for routine and urgent problems.
Acting as Duty Doctor on occasion to assist with triage and ad hoc appointments with urgent patients.
Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards including the recording of appropriate information for QOF.
Occasional home visits.
Use of SystemOne clinical system in conjunction with Rapid Health AI online booking system.
Parking on site.
We are a rural, forward-thinking practice with a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. We are a medium sized Dispensing and Training practice set in a village of Bugbrooke with total list size of approximately 10,800 patients. We have 4 GP Partners, an ANP, 2 Practice nurses, 3 HCA's, 2 Clinical pharmacists, Pharmacy technicians, a Physio team, SPLW and a Dietician. A large support team is made up of receptionists, administration team led by our full time Practice Manager—a friendly and supportive team.
In accordance with the practice schedule, you will make yourself available to undertake a variety of duties. These include face‑to‑face consultations, telephone consultations, home visits, triage, checking and signing prescriptions, and dealing with queries in a timely fashion.
Contributing to QOF requirements and recording data appropriately.
Assisting our Care Coordinators where required.
Developing care plans for health-related illnesses.
Working across teams to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
Screening patients for health education.
Collecting data for audit purposes.
Use of SystemOne.
