ENT and Allergy Associates, New York & New Jersey's premier ENT and Allergy medical practice, is seeking a self-motivated, people-friendly Part-Time Surgical Coordinator for our Shrewsbury office.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 8:00AM - 4:30PM

1. Scheduling all hospital and some in-office surgeries
2. Communicating with hospitals to perform all necessary pre-operative requirements
3. Contacting patients to explain responsibilities and all necessary pre-operative and post-operative requirements
4. Administering surgical prep packets to patients which contain all required paperwork to be completed prior to surgery
5. Pre-certifying all surgical procedures with the appropriate insurance company, verifying eligibility, deductibles, and co-pays

1. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
2. Experience with NextGen is a plus
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
4. Experience in the medical field and knowledge of medical insurance
5. Excellent communication and follow-up skills
