A leading university in the UK is seeking a post doctoral research associate to work on machine learning applications in neurodegenerative disorders. This role involves dataset curation and model building. Candidates should have (or be near completing) a PhD. The position offers a collaborative and vibrant lab environment. This appointment requires a Research Passport application.
Applications are invited for a post doctoral research associate to work with Dr Timothy Rittman on the implementation of machine learning for understanding and clinical utility. The role will involve the collation and curation of datasets of neurodegenerative disorders, using these datasets to build models of neurodegenerative tauopathies, and building a framework for the development and implementation of machine learning models.
The applicant will join a friendly and hard-working lab group, with a shared vision to improve the understanding and management of neurodegenerative disorders using big data methods and machine learning approaches.

Appointment at Research Associate level is dependent on having a PhD. Those who have submitted but not yet received their PhD will initially be appointed as a Research Assistant (Grade 5, Point 38 £34,132) moving to Research Associate (Grade 7) upon confirmation of your PhD award.
