Are you an experienced paediatric nurse passionate about transforming care for children with inherited metabolic disorders?
We are seeking a dynamic individual who has an interest in working in a specialist and learning-rich environment, who can demonstrate compassion and empathy for our children, young people and their families. The individual will be joining the multi-professional team across both Nottingham and Leicester Children's Hospitals as part of the East Midland's Paediatric Metabolic Service.
As the Regional Lead Nurse, you will be a key member of the multidisciplinary metabolic team, working closely with consultants, dietitians, and allied professionals across hospitals and community settings. You will support children and their families through complex care pathways, helping them navigate clinical, emotional, and practical challenges. You will work closely with local and national stakeholders to implement best practices and improve service delivery and will be expected to work without supervision. You will play a crucial leadership role in developing and standardising care pathways, delivering training and education, and ensuring adherence to national standards of metabolic care.
If you would like to work in a friendly environment and are motivated and enthusiastic about making a difference to the care of patients with inherited metabolic disorders, we would like to hear from you!
With over 19,000 staff, we are one of the biggest employers in the city with a central role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our local population. We play a leading role in research, education and innovation.
