Join us as a Band 5 Staff Nurse. Our service operates from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, offering flexibility in working hours. An additional team of Nurses and HCA’s offer a robust, reactive evening and night Nursing team.

You will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care and will work flexibly supporting the team to deliver high quality integrated care.

You will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to be adaptable, reliable, resourceful and approachable.

Providing integrated care following a holistic assessment which enables patients to be cared for in their own homes and clinic settings. You will facilitate the prevention of unnecessary hospital admission/re-admission by reducing the effects of ill health and disability and maximising the individual's potential for independence.

A robust induction and competency‑based development package will be provided.

• To assess, plan, implement, promote and evaluate safe, creative and effective treatment plans in collaboration with the patient’s diverse needs, their carers and other professionals

• Be trained to deliver high quality care and develop Knowledge in all areas including palliative care, leg ulcer management, acute and chronic wound care, understand bladder and bowel dysfunctions, provide supportive care to carers and family members

Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa. Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.
