A creative fashion brand in Greater London seeks a proactive Studio Assistant to support daily operations across brand development, production, and marketing. Responsibilities include assisting with social media shoots, managing inventory, and supporting fittings coordination. The ideal candidate has experience in the fashion industry, solid communication skills, is detail-oriented, and has proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Excel. Luu Dan is a daring designer label launched in 2022 that’s redefining Asian masculinity. The brand’s name refers to a Dangerous Man in Vietnamese and its mission is to collectively realize the dream and shared experiences of Asian men.
We’re currently looking for a proactive and organized Studio Assistant to support our team across multiple facets of our emerging brand.
Reporting to the Brand & Operations Project Manager, you will gain deep exposure to brand development, production, and marketing, playing a crucial role in the daily operations of the studio.
Content Production : Assist with social media e-commerce and campaign shoots including coordinating locations, guiding talent and ensuring all visuals meet Luu Dan’s aesthetic.
Content Creation : Collaborate on creative concepts and produce engaging visuals or copy (including style names and social captions) for various digital platforms.
PR / Media Management : Provide support with tracking press samples and managing communication with PR firms, stylists and talent.
Studio Operations : Act as the main point of contact for the studio, managing supply inventory, organization and restocking of administrative supplies.
Shipping & Logistics : Handle the logistics of shipping items to and from the studio.
Asset Management : Manage storage, sample and archive systems including assisting with the accuracy of the Fabric File System.
Cross-Departmental Assistance : Help the design, development, production and finance teams by requesting vendor forms and sharing invoices from external stakeholders.
Fittings Coordination : Help organize and prepare for fittings, ensuring models are booked and all items are readily available.
Material Flow : Assist in the movement of raw materials for both production and development between suppliers and the brand.
Experience in the fashion & retail industry.
Knowledge of fashion culture / familiar with Luu Dan references.
Solid Photoshop Illustrator InDesign and Excel skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English; other languages a plus.
The candidate must be eligible to work in the UK.
Detail-oriented.
Solid organizational and time management skills.
Takes initiative and demonstrates an eagerness to learn.
