Job Description

As a Business Analyst (Risk and Operations) at Finalto, you will be playing a key role in delivering actionable insights, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting data-driven decision making.

You will work closely with the Business Intelligence team in building data products (data models, dashboards etc.) with cutting-edge modern tech stack. You will work with technologies such as Databricks, PowerBI to ensure the company unlocks the full potential of its data.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboard Development & Insights

·Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards to provide updates operational, risk, and trading insights.

·Identify key metrics, trends, and anomalies to support strategic and operational decisions.

Data Collaboration & Quality

·Work closely with the BI team on data modelling and ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.

·Conduct regular data quality checks and resolve inconsistencies in data.

Risk & Trading Analytics

·Collaborate with Risk Management and Operations teams to enhance risk monitoring and reporting.

Technology & Automation

·Use Python, SQL, and Databricks to analyse in house data.

·Explore opportunities to apply AL and ML models to improve forecasting, scenario tests, and anomaly detection.

Requirements

·Proven experience in Python, SQL, and Databricks

·Experience in building dashboards (Databricks, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar)

·Experience in the financial industry

·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

·Knowledge of data modelling concepts (e.g. Star schema)

·Excellent communicator, teamworking, and belief in documentation

Desired Skills

·A passion for data and information analysis

·Experience with Cloud (AWS, Azure)

·Experience with AL/ML applications in finance

·Interest in finance and markets

Qualifications

·A degree in Finance, Data Science, Computer Science or related field.
