Job summary
A leading engineering company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Site Service Engineer to maintain an array of advanced utilities systems, including steam boilers and refrigeration systems. This role involves hands-on fault-finding and general facilities maintenance tasks while supporting a crucial 24/7 operation. The ideal candidate will have experience in facilities maintenance and HVAC knowledge, along with a formal engineering qualification. A competitive salary of £42,000 - £45,000 is offered, with alternating shift patterns.
Qualifications
- Must have previous experience in facilities maintenance.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is essential.
- An apprenticeship or formal engineering qualification is required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and fault-find on steam boilers and refrigeration systems.
- Carry out plumbing and small repairs to keep the site operational.
- Support a 24/7 operation ensuring reliability.
