About Our Client
This role is with a well-established business services provider who work with customers in the UK and overseas.
Job Description
The Senior Legal Counsel position will hold the following responsibilities:
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts
- Review contracts for both sales and procurement agreements
- Draft and review technology agreements, software licences, NDAs etc
- Support with IP related matters
- Uphold legal and compliance best practices
- Providing advice to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure that legal and compliance updates are communicated to the business
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for the Senior Legal Counsel position should be:
- A qualified legal professional with relevant accreditation to practise in the UK
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines
- A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating legal risks
