We are seeking an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join a highly respected legal team in Edinburgh. This permanent, full-time position offers the opportunity to work with one of Scotland’s largest teams of private client specialists, handling a diverse caseload from day one, including direct client contact with individuals, families, executors, and trustees both within the UK and internationally.

• Manage administration of trusts and executries, including high-value taxable estates
• Prepare Wills and Powers of Attorney
• Support guardianship matters and asset protection strategies
• Liaise directly with clients, providing excellent service
• Collaborate with partners, solicitors, tax specialists, and fellow paralegals
• Maintain strong financial management of your caseload
• Contribute to team development and excellence

• Proven experience in a private client team is essential
• Strong background in executries, trusts, and will drafting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines
• Approachable, confident, with a genuine interest in personal legal matters
• Proactive, detail-oriented, committed to continuous learning
• Case management and IT system knowledge is a plus (training available)
