• Provide legal advice and support on reinsurance agreements and related contracts.
• Responsibility for internal reinsurance arrangements
• Reviewing/drafting captive arrangements and subsequent negotiation, and working with Global Credit Management on associated collateral with captives
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• Support the business in managing legal risks, developing policies, and resolving disputes as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address legal queries.

The successful lawyer will:

• Be qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales or a similar jurisdiction
• Have proven experience working in the insurance or reinsurance industry
• Have expertise in contentious or non-contentious insurance work

• A competitive salary up to £140,000 depending on candidate experience
