Wiseman Consulting is recruiting for an Employment Law specialist on a 100% remote basis or in-office in Reading, Berkshire. This rare opportunity comes when the firm is focused on expanding its employment law department. If you are an Employment Consultant Solicitor looking for another notch to your Consultancy belt with an additional 15-25 hours of guaranteed work per week with no business development, or an Employment Solicitor with at least 5+ PQE looking to step away from standard working practices in the offer, Wiseman Consulting Limited is offering a brand new role on a 100% remote basis.

For this Employment Solicitor role, we expect a minimum of 2+ PQE in Employment Law from a High Street, Regional, Boutique or Top 200 Firm anywhere in England and Wales.

The Role

This role is for an Employment Law Consultant Solicitor with a minimum of 5+ PQE, ideally from a private practice background in England or Wales.

The firm has a busy desk and a warm caseload of varied and exciting work. Still, we welcome applications from well-rounded Solicitors who are active in business development or want to contribute to new business at the firm.

The firm can handle the full range of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious, employee and employer, but tends to focus on.

• Settlement Agreements
• Discrimination
• Workplace grievances,
• TUPE transfers
• Maternity and paternity leave
• Unlawful deductions from wages
• Breach of contract
• Employment Tribunal or High Court litigation
