Legal Assistant – Emsworth • £26,000

To provide support to the Residential & Commercial Property team by providing competent and efficient conveyancing support for the daily running of a busy department.

Duties
  • Preparing and sending out quotes.
  • Following up on quotes to convert/obtain feedback.
  • Opening new files.
  • Preparing and sending out contract packs on sales (under supervision).
  • Preparing completion statements (following training).
  • Completing SDLT returns through case management software (following training).
  • Dealing with registration at HMLR (following training).
  • Reviewing completed registration title documents.
  • Reporting to clients and lenders following completion of registration.
  • Update clients, estate agents and other solicitors on the progress of transactions.
  • Tie up incoming post with client files, liaise with fee earner as to required tasks, deal with queries, agree action etc.
  • Any other duties which may from time to time be reasonably requested
  • Must have minimum 2 years experience
