Job summary
A specialist Litigation practice in England is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to assist with property disputes and various legal matters. The role requires a minimum of 12 months experience, with responsibilities including case preparation, client liaison, and legal research. The position offers a salary between £28,000 - £35,000, hybrid working after probation, and generous holiday benefits.

- Experience in service charges and landlord-tenant matters.
- Familiarity with County Court and first tier tribunal processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist fee earners with various matters.
- Review and prepare claims and evidence.
- Liaise with clients to gather relevant information.
- Assist with research and drafting of legal advice.
Skills
A Litigation Paralegal with a minimum of 12 months experience within a Litigation department is required due to expansion for a specialist Litigation practice close to Hertford.

- Minimum of 12 months experience in the field of Litigation preferably property disputes
- Experience in service charges
- Ground rent debt recovery both residential and commercial
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Experience of dealing with matters in the County Court and first tier tribunal
- Assisting fee earners with a wide range of matters
- Reviewing claims
- Liaising with clients and/or agents to collate information
- Assisting with research and drafting/preparation of advice
- Reviewing breach of covenant matters assisting with research and the drafting/preparation of advice to Client and taking instructions to progress
- Assisting with preparation for compliance with Court and/or Tribunal deadlines as required
- Any other reasonable duties commensurate to the post as requested by your Line Manager
- Salary within the region of 28,000 - 35,000 and dependent on level of experience
- Hybrid working once completion of probation period
