We are pleased to be recruiting for an experienced Paralegal (or similar), who has experience in residential property law. This is a great chance to join an independent specialist property law firm, dealing with residential & commercial property, land and business transfer. Duties
  • Obtaining and reviewing title documents from the Land Registry;
  • Carrying out legal research;
  • Preparing first drafts of legal documents (such as mortgages and undertakings);
  • Submitting searches and, if requested, reporting on searches;
  • Dealing with pre-completion requirements;
  • Dealing with completions;
  • Preparing all necessary accounts forms and understanding client ledgers;
  • Preparing and submitting Companies House registrations;
  • Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications and dealing with requisitions;
  • Account reconciliation, file closing;
  • Handling telephone calls with clients and third parties, and dealing with basic telephone enquiries;
  • Administrative duties including photocopying, scanning, filing and letter writing.
Desired experience
  • Dealing with sales and purchases of commercial property or residential transactions (preferably 2 years minimum)
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines, prioritise caseload and work as a member of a team
