Job Title: Private Client Solicitor - Cranbrook
Contract Type: Full time Maternity Cover (9 months), with the potential to become permanent

We are seeking a motivated Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx) to join our friendly team in Cranbrook for maternity cover, starting mid-November 2025. While based in Cranbrook, you'll also be part of our wider Private Client department, working collaboratively across our offices.

• Handle a broad caseload of private client matters including wills, trusts, probate, estate administration, and lasting powers of attorney

• Provide clear, empathetic legal advice and build strong client relationships

• Manage billing, cashflow, and ensure time recording and cost recovery targets are met

• Promote the firm\'s services through marketing and networking activities

• Ensure compliance with Lexcel standards and all regulatory obligations

• Confident working independently but also collaborative with colleagues

• Target-driven and results-focused, with a positive and professional attitude

• Strong client care and communication skills

• Embraces technology and continuous learning

• Ideally 2+ years\' PQE in Private Client (Solicitors or FCILEx), though candidates with equivalent experience will be considered

• Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
