Job summary
A well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business is looking for an HGV Technician to join their team in Oswestry. This full-time position involves repairing vehicles, servicing, and MOT preparation. The ideal candidate will have industry qualifications and a solid understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance. Benefits include ongoing training, a strong pension scheme, medical insurance, and retail discounts. A commercial license is a plus. Salary is £19.21 per hour, totaling approximately £43,570 annually.

Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs highlighted during the initial inspection.
- Perform general servicing and MOT preparation.
- Conduct fault finding and diagnostics.
- Update all necessary paperwork and databases.

Working Hours: 6am to 2.30pm & 1.30pm to 10pm
Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role (40 hour week)
Financial Package: £19.21ph (Annually = £43,570) + Overtime
My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on rotating shifts.
Working in an established team of HGV Technicians, you will be required to undertake the following:
- Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
- General Servicing and MOT preparation
- Fault finding & diagnostics
- Updating all required paperwork / databases
The successful HGV Technician will have the following attributes:
- Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship
- Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
- A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage for isn't essential
- Ongoing training and development on new and emerging technology
- Very strong pension scheme
