Mobile Vehicle Technician

Location: Cardiff and the immediate surrounding area.

Salary: £35,000 basic, with time-and-a-half overtime; yearly earnings average between £43,000 – £53,000, depending on overtime hours.

Hours: 40 hours per week across Monday to Sunday. Earliest start 6am, latest finish 12am, mandatory 12-hour rest between shifts. Schedules are set for the entire year in advance.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the breakdown team to attend customer breakdowns, diagnose issues, and repair or return vehicles to service.
• Identify problems and advise customers on vehicle issues.
• Perform vehicle servicing and general maintenance, including electrical and diagnostic work.
• Represent the business as the face of the service, delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Minimum Level 2 qualification required to be considered.
• Full UK driving licence.
