  • Assessment of requirements in the domain of critical infrastructure, as well as development of measures to meet these requirements.
  • Advising on the design/adaptation of the system architecture according to customer specifications.
  • Defining the configuration of the various devices (PC, switch, firewall, but also PLC and monitoring stations) for the various projects.
  • Coordinating of and advising on site acceptance test activities.
  • Planning, conducting, and participating in cybersecurity meetings with customers and suppliers.
  • Coordinating with colleagues in the UK, France, Germany, USA and India with regards to general procedures and guidelines for cybersecurity in industrial facilities.
  • 20% of work time may consist of domestic and occasional international travel for technical meetings, site visits and customer visits; both independently and as a member of a wider team.

We are looking for a committed and professional individual with:
  • A relevant degree in Software Engineering, Cyber Security or Industrial Control Systems (or equivalent), or significant relevant experience gained in a professional engineering environment.
  • Previous experience of designing and integrating control & automation project solutions.
  • Sound knowledge of Industrial communication protocols e.g. Modbus (RTU/TCP IP), OPC-UA, Profibus, Profinet etc.
  • Strong understanding of industrial networking.
  • Very good knowledge of cybersecurity standards and industrial OT, particularly IEC 62443.
  • Ability to configure a hardened MS Windows environment, computer networks and PLC environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoying contact with customers.
  • Organizational skills and leadership qualities.
  • High level of initiative and motivation for self-initiated further training.

What will make you stand out:
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certificate.
  • Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP) certificate.

You can expect from us:
  • Challenging and exciting projects.
  • A work environment where we understand that not everyone has the same expectations about their jobs, careers and work-life balance and we are happy to discuss flexibility requirements.
  • Attractive compensation.
  • Flexible benefits so you can build a package that fits your personal needs. Some core benefits are: Employer pension contribution (not subject to individual contribution), Income protection, Private Health Insurance and Life Assurance.
