Insurance Account Handler - work from home
Job summary
An independent insurance firm is seeking a full or part-time account handler/administrator based in St Albans. You will manage new opportunities, process paperwork, and liaise with underwriters and clients. A strong background in commercial insurance is essential, along with experience in Acturis software. This role offers flexible working from home with occasional meetings in London and St Albans.
Qualifications
- Strong account handling/administration skills required.
- Corporate insurance background preferred.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Logging new opportunities on the system and ensuring updates.
- Processing paperwork for insurance policies.
- Liaising with underwriters and clients effectively.
Skills
Fabulous opportunity for a full or a part time person to work for an independent insurance company based in St Albans. They are looking for a strong account handler /administrator with a corporate insurance background and a working knowledge of Acturis.
- Logging new opportunities on the system (and ensuring it is updated)
- Processing paperwork
- Liaising with underwriters and clients
- General commercial insurance experience (preferably someone who has worked on policies) is essential
- Experience of working on Acturis software
- Self-starter; able to work independently and get things done
- Happy working from home with the flexibility to attend meetings in the London and St Albans offices once a month
