The Opportunity

An established services business based in Southeast London is seeking two Interim Management Accountants on a 3-6-month interim contract, starting ASAP, paying £325-£375 per day.

They do 4 days in the office, but this could be one more or less week to week dependent on capacity.

Following a recent acquisition, the business has inherited finance data that is heavily Excel-based and insufficiently structured. This interim requirement has been created to support the finance team in rebuilding, rationalising, and improving the quality of management information and reporting.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused assignment, well suited to a Management Accountant who is comfortable working through complex, unstructured data and supporting consolidation activity in a fast-paced interim environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rebuild and structure financial data inherited through acquisition
  • Produce a clean, consistent set of management accounts
  • Support consolidation activities across the wider group
  • Analyse historic financial data and resolve inconsistencies
  • Develop management reporting to improve visibility and decision-making
  • Extensive use of Excel to model, reconcile, and validate financial information

  • Strong background in management accounting or finance analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with incomplete or messy datasets
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, or finance transformation projects
  • Able to operate independently and deliver at pace in an interim role
  • Commercially minded, analytical, and detail-oriented
