Hybrid Property Accountant (ACCA) | VAT & Intercompany
Job summary
A privately-owned property investment company is seeking a qualified or finalist ACCA Accountant to join its finance team in Canary Wharf. Key responsibilities include preparing management accounts, dealing with intercompany reconciliations, and assisting with year-end audits. Ideal candidates will have experience in the property sector and knowledge of VAT and service charge accounting. This role offers a hybrid work model: 4 days in the office and 1 day from home.
Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant required for the role.
- Experience in the property sector is essential.
- Knowledge of VAT and service charge accounting is a must.
Responsibilities
- Preparing management accounts from books of prime entry.
- Preparing accounting journals.
- Deal with intercompany reconciliations.
- Assisting with year end audit.
- Preparing / assisting with the preparation of bank covenant reports.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
