Work as part of the Manufacturing Engineering team to ensure safe and efficient production within the framework of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, and Environment.
Manage equipment design and implementation through commissioning, ensuring compliance with customer control standards.
Oversee installation and commissioning of equipment, ensuring all controls-related documentation, such as Machine Acceptance Checklists, are updated. Provide technical expertise to the team and vendors for controls design and standards, and suggest solutions to vendors.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures by achieving safety metrics, identifying hazards and risks, implementing corrective actions, and providing appropriate training to the team.
What You’ll Need
Technical skills in Controls and Electrical Automotive Engineering gained through Manufacturing experience.
Experience with Powertrain or relevant automotive systems.
Knowledge of Controls Technologies such as Robotics, PLCs, Control Systems, Vision Systems, and Safety Systems.
Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
Ability to apply logical problem-solving approaches.
