Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Warrington is seeking an EC&I Engineer for a permanent role. This position involves ensuring design specifications are met and implementing safety standards on significant nuclear projects. The ideal candidate will possess relevant engineering qualifications and experience on regulated sites. This role offers a salary of £50,000 to £60,000 along with excellent benefits including a pension and career development funding.

- Installation, commissioning, and operations experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure specification for client design is implemented and checked for safety compliance.
- Ensure changes are well documented and coordinated to correct managers.
- Ensure implementation of the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
- Improve construction safety performance to meet Company targets.
- Liaise with designers to ensure correct interpretation of their requirements.

- Ensure any and all specification for client design are implemented and checked for safety compliance
- Ensure changes are effectively controlled and that work is well documented and coordinated to the correct managers
- Ensure the implementation of the Project Execution Plan (PEP)
- Improve construction safety performance to meet Company targets
- Liaise with designers and / or technical experts to ensure correct interpretation of their requirements and obtain authorisation for modifications as a consequence of local conditions
- Implementation of quality plans, method statements, and risk assessments etc.
- Ensure the team’s work is checked thoroughly and maintained to the specific requirements of the end client
- HNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering field
- Time spent working on highly regulated sites (preferably nuclear)
- Installation, commissioning and operations experience
