A leading engineering firm in Warrington is seeking an EC&I Engineer for a permanent role. Qualifications

  • HNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering field.
  • Time spent working on highly regulated sites (preferably nuclear).
  • Installation, commissioning, and operations experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure specification for client design is implemented and checked for safety compliance.
  • Ensure changes are well documented and coordinated to correct managers.
  • Ensure implementation of the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
  • Improve construction safety performance to meet Company targets.
  • Liaise with designers to ensure correct interpretation of their requirements.

Working Hours

37 hour working week.

Daily Deliverables
  • Ensure any and all specification for client design are implemented and checked for safety compliance
  • Ensure changes are effectively controlled and that work is well documented and coordinated to the correct managers
  • Ensure the implementation of the Project Execution Plan (PEP)
  • Improve construction safety performance to meet Company targets
  • Liaise with designers and / or technical experts to ensure correct interpretation of their requirements and obtain authorisation for modifications as a consequence of local conditions
  • Implementation of quality plans, method statements, and risk assessments etc.
  • Ensure the team’s work is checked thoroughly and maintained to the specific requirements of the end client
Key Skills / Qualifications

  • Time spent working on highly regulated sites (preferably nuclear)
  • Installation, commissioning and operations experience
