Driver Trainer

Salary: up to £40,640.71 per annum plus car or car cash allowance, annual performance bonus (15%) and other Veolia benefits.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Location: Flexible (with Travel covering a specific territory and some overnight stays)

What you'll be doing;

• To Build relationships with the relevant staff at your designated locations - your customers - working with them in order to produce a safe and compliant Veolia driving workforce.
  
• Working with the central fleet team to meet and achieve the busy schedule diary that is in place.
  
• Produce written reports and / or evaluation documents when requested
  
• Solitary working and determination and willpower to complete the tasks that will be set out, including advice and guidance regarding relevant learner information.
  
• Support the region in achieving the target of a minimum of 1 nominated Driver Assessor at each Veolia transport operating centre, liaising with the Senior fleet driver trainer as a point of escalation when required.
  
• Offer support and training in regards to vehicle and driver related matters at each of your designated Veolia locations
  
• Monitor administration functions that are required in order to satisfy the needs of the centrally held calendar.
  

The above is a summary of main duties only, and other duties may be required to be fulfilled to meet the changing nature of the role.





What we're looking for;

Essential:

• Be available for occasional overnight stays away from home
  
• Hold a category C+E licence for at least 3 years
  
• Hold a Train the Trainer qualification
  
• Ability to work on own initiative and unsupervised
  
• Effective organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines
  
• Working as part of a team
  
• Develop relevant skills to work with learners
  
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to speak to an audience
  
• Good IT skills (Google) for record keeping and report writing
  

Desirable:

• Hold an approved driving instructor (ADI) qualification
