In Risk, our role is to make sure we’re doing the right thing as an organisation, for our people and our customers. Risk management allows us to strike a balance between taking risks and reducing them. It’s our responsibility to manage risk across the bank, ensuring we have the right culture, strategy, and rules in place. We also manage interactions with key regulators, providing trusted advice to the colleagues who serve our customers.

As a graduate trainee Modelling Specialist in Risk, you’ll get the best possible start to your career as we’ll equip you with the knowledge, skills, and experiences you’ll need to make a significant impact through your work.

Over the course of this two-year programme, you can expect to:

At the end of two years your programme will end, and we’ll support you to apply for your next job. Past graduates have been successful in applying for jobs such as Risk Model Analyst.

To be eligible for our Risk graduate programme, you’ll need:

• To have, or be on course to achieving a 2:1 in a STEM subject for your degree, preferably in a strong numerical discipline
• A growth mindset and passion for learning
• To be a keen problem solver
• Good analytical skills
• To enjoy collaborating and working as part of a team
• The ability to think strategically

It’s important to take the time to make sure you’re making the right decision about the programme you want to apply for (you can only apply for one programme) but please complete your application as soon as you can to make sure you don’t miss out!

Not all of our graduate programmes offer Skilled Worker sponsorship. We will only offer sponsorship if there is a business requirement to do so and the job meets Skilled Worker Visa eligibility criteria.
