Job summary
A leading technology firm seeks an experienced AI Governance Specialist to develop and implement guidelines for the responsible use of AI. This remote role involves analyzing regulatory requirements, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance across projects. Candidates should possess a degree in a related field, have extensive experience in governance and compliance, and a strong understanding of AI technologies and regulations, particularly the EU AI Act. Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in governance, compliance, data protection, IT security, or artificial intelligence.
- In-depth knowledge of current AI technologies and their regulatory framework, particularly the EU AI Act, GDPR, and ethical guidelines.
- Experience in the application of BPMN and understanding of business processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop guidelines, standards, and processes for the responsible use of AI.
- Analyze regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with the law on all AI projects.
- Conduct regular audits and risk analyses to monitor compliance.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary dialogue between various departments and external partners.
- Design, update, and organize training courses on AI ethics and compliance.

- Developing guidelines, standards, and processes for the responsible use of AI and implementing them throughout the company.
- You will analyze regulatory requirements and ensure that all AI projects comply with the law.
- You will conduct regular audits and risk analyses and monitor compliance with compliance requirements.
- You will coordinate interdisciplinary dialogue between specialist departments, data protection, IT security, and external partners.
- You design, update, and organize training courses and internal awareness measures.
- You advise managers and project teams on questions relating to the ethical, legal, and technical evaluation of AI systems.
- Structured recording and modeling of business processes using the BPMN methodology.
- Analysis of existing processes, their graphical representation using BPMN, and support in optimizing processes within the company in the context of data governance.
- Degree in natural sciences, computer science, law, business informatics, or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in governance, compliance, data protection, IT security, or artificial intelligence
- In-depth knowledge of current AI technologies and their regulatory framework, in particular the EU AI Act, data protection (GDPR), and ethical guidelines
- Strong analytical thinking and high problem-solving skills
- Experience in the application of BPMN, a good understanding of business processes, and analytical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills, persuasiveness, and the ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
