Job summary
A leading insurance company is seeking a Graduate Pricing Analyst to enhance their pricing and underwriting capabilities. This remote role involves developing risk pricing models for motor insurance products, implementing initiatives to drive value, and analyzing new rating approaches. Candidates should have a relevant degree and experience in programming, particularly in Python. This position offers a permanent role within a dynamic team.
Qualifications
- Experience in one or more programming languages, preferably Python.
- Proficient in data manipulation, visualization, and modelling within Python and R desirable.
Responsibilities
- Develop, review and refine risk pricing models for motor insurance products.
- Implement ownership initiatives to deliver value to the Company’s bottom line.
- Analyze and implement new rating approaches to improve account performance.

As a member of their Pricing Team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the Company's pricing and underwriting capabilities.

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
- Develop, review and refine risk pricing models for annual and short-term motor insurance products. Including within their bespoke in-house Python modelling pipeline
- Ownership initiatives, from identification of opportunities to implementation and monitoring to deliver value to the Company’s bottom line
- Proactively seek, analyse and implement new rating approaches to improve account performance and meet business targets
- First Class or 2.1 Honours Degree in a mathematical, scientific, or data-related field
- Experience in one or more programming languages (preferably Python) and database languages
- Proficient in data manipulation, visualization, and modelling within Python and R (desirable)
