New Leaf Search has partnered with a leading UK-based financial services group in its search for a Business Development Director, Mid Corporates.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Director to join our client’s team. This role combines managing an existing portfolio with originating new business opportunities to drive growth. With a strong regional presence and industry profile, you’ll develop strategic relationships and deliver tailored Asset Finance solutions to Mid Corporate clients (£25m–£100m turnover), playing a crucial role in expanding the client base and delivering impactful financial solutions.
Identify new prospects to drive growth and expand the client base
Foster strong relationships with existing clients to maximise Asset Finance opportunities
Deliver high-value Asset Finance transactions, securing credit limits and tailored funding solutions
Cultivate strong relationships with colleagues and introducers to ensure effective delivery
Lead structuring of financial solutions and negotiate deals to successful close
Proven track record in sales, business development, and client relationship management
Extensive credit lending experience, with ability to analyse complex financials and present detailed credit reports
Deep knowledge of Asset Finance products and structuring complex funding solutions
Validated ability to originate, structure, and close high-value transactions
Strong professional network to uncover and convert new business opportunities
Exceptional stakeholder management skills and collaborative approach
UK in-country experience is essential
