A legal service provider is seeking an Evening Document Specialist to lead the evening document production team. This role involves managing workflow, delivering high-quality outputs, and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate has experience in document production and strong organizational skills. This is a remote position with occasional office attendance in London.
Owen Reed is looking for a Document Specialist (Evening) for a top law firm. This permanent role offers the opportunity to lead the evening document production team, ensuring operational excellence, high-quality outputs, and exceptional client service.
Location: Remote (with occasional London office attendance)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 14:00 – 22:00
Department: Secretarial Services
The Role: As the Evening Document Specialist, you will lead a motivated team, managing workflow, delivering client-focused services, and maintaining the firm’s high standards in document production. You will work closely with the Day Document Manager to ensure consistency, efficiency, and ongoing team development.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the evening team, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance oversight.
Oversee workflow operations using BigHand Now, ensuring accurate job logging, fair workload distribution, and timely delivery.
Provide hands‑on document production support when needed.
Act as the first point of contact for client queries during the evening shift.
Collaborate with legal groups and Business Services to maintain high service standards.
Work with the Day Document Manager to continuously improve team skills, processes, and quality.
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience managing teams in document production or secretarial services.
Strong document production and administration skills.
Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workloads.
Confident communicator with professional interpersonal skills at all levels.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and workflow/document management systems (BigHand Now, NetDocs).
