Job summary
A leading engineering consultancy in the United Kingdom is seeking a Principal Designer to manage Building Regulations and Compliance Consultancy Projects. Candidates from either an architectural or building control background will find this opportunity rewarding, as you will be integral to the development of a new business unit. You are required to have proven experience with building controls, a strong understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022, and the ability to mentor junior hires. This position offers remote working flexibility and the chance to advance rapidly on complex projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in building control or senior design capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022.
- Ability to manage Building Regulations Consultancy Projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects for Building Regulations and Compliance.
- Develop the Building Regulatory service line.
- Mentor junior team members and recruit new hires.
