At 4WARD.earth, we’re connecting founders, community leaders, and mission-driven changemakers to accelerate climate solutions worldwide. As we scale our impact, we need someone passionate about people and talent to help us source and screen exceptional volunteers and team members.
We’re seeking a purpose-driven recruiting specialist to support our People & Culture team in finding candidates who are the right fit for 4WARD’s mission and culture.
This is a volunteer recruiting role focused on candidate sourcing, initial screening, and interview coordination.
You will work closely with our HR Business Partner and Head of People & Culture to identify and vet potential volunteers and team members across all functions.
Time Commitment: 5-8+ hours per week
Find talented, mission-driven individuals who want to contribute to climate action.
You will:
🎯 Source candidates through networks, LinkedIn, climate communities, and relevant platforms
📊 Build and maintain talent pipelines for open volunteer positions
🤝 Reach out to potential candidates and generate interest in 4WARD opportunities
🚀 Identify passive candidates who would be strong fits for specific roles
🌍 Help expand our reach to diverse talent pools across regions and backgrounds
Conduct initial assessments to identify the best candidates for further consideration.
You will:
🎤 Conduct screening calls to assess experience, motivation, and availability
🧩 Evaluate candidates for cultural fit, skills, and alignment with role requirements
📣 Present qualified candidates to the People & Culture team and hiring managers
📅 Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and team leads
📈 Maintain candidate tracking and communication throughout the process
Work as part of the team to continuously improve our recruiting efforts.
You will:
📊 Use our existing recruiting tools and processes (Notion, applicant tracking, etc.)
📘 Provide feedback on candidate quality and recruiting channels
🏅 Help maintain positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey
