The Role:
Venture Recruitment Partners are working on an exclusive basis with a high-growth SME to recruit for a newly created Management Accountant position. The business has carved out a strong niche in the market through its commitment to sustainable, bespoke products and continues to grow at pace. This role offers a rare opportunity to work 100% remotely, while developing under a highly supportive Finance Controller who is keen to mentor and progress the successful candidate into his role over the next 18‑24 months.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Posting sales workings and product costs for management information
- Producing daily sales reports and managing cashflow
- Ownership of VAT returns across multiple jurisdictions (Canada, UK, Netherlands, USA and Norway)
- Assisting with the preparation of board packs
- Supporting the annual audit process and audit file preparation
- Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or Management Accountant role
- Studying towards, or keen to study towards, ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Strong management accounting and reconciliation skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and eager to progress
- 100% remote working
- 3% pension
- 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays)
