Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

The work model for the role is: remote.

  • Selling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned divisions.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promoting their understanding of ABB’s complete product/systems/ services offering, and aligning with them to provide a solution.
  • Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Preparing sales plans using ABB authorized tools.
  • Performing regular status reviews and proposing recovery plan(s), in case of any potential order shortfalls.
  • Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals, by using effective sales techniques.
  • Communicating to the customers about the details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.
  • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicating value proposition to customers.
  • Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
  • Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting cash collection and project management activities, when needed.
  • Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers are in place, including prices and trading conditions.
  • Driving application of standardized marketing & sales processes and tools (Salesforce, account plans, etc.) for the account.
Qualifications for the Role
  • Proven experience in portfolio management, business strategy, and go-to-market execution.
  • Strong commercial and market insight, including market intelligence and competitive analysis.
  • Demonstrated success in driving customer experience, adoption, and long-term customer success.
  • Solid understanding of pricing strategy, budget ownership, and delivery against performance targets.
  • Strong account management and business development capability, driving sustainable revenue growth.
  • Experience in sales enablement, general sales practices, and solution/application sales engineering.
  • Proven ability to work with channel partners and indirect sales models.
  • Sound knowledge of contract management, risk management, and regulatory/legal compliance.
