We're working with a pioneering tech organisation driving the next wave of generative AI. They're seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to help transform cutting-edge research into production-grade systems.
- Designing and scaling infrastructure, workflows, and tools to power Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Partnering with researchers to overcome challenges in agent-generated code.
- Building frameworks for annotation, training, and model development at scale.
- 4+ years' experience in ML/AI (LLMs, recommender systems, data mining, or similar).
- Proven hands-on work with LLM agents / generative AI.
- Strong coding in Python with PyTorch / TensorFlow.
- Advanced debugging, experimentation, and optimisation skills.
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, AI, ML, or related field.
- Research background (papers, Kaggle Master).
- Backend API development + frontend (React/JavaScript) for annotation tools.
- Contract: Outside IR35
- Duration: 6-12 months (extension very likely)
- Location: Remote (UK-based)
