Job summary

A leading Data Center Commissioning Management firm is looking for a Senior CxA, CxE, or CxM to manage projects across Europe. You will be responsible for leading meetings, managing installations, and ensuring installations are conducted safely and efficiently. A strong background in Data Centre commissioning, along with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, is essential. The role is remote, with travel required for client sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Working mechanical knowledge of Chilled Water, HVAC, BMS Systems essential.
• Extensive experience as a Commissioning Engineer in Data Centre sector is necessary.
• Expertise in Level 4 Script writing is a must.
• Fluent in written & spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Chair meetings and lead technical workshops.
• Manage Mechanical IRL’s on projects.
• Ensure all equipment is installed correctly.
• Create and implement test procedures.
• Investigate and repair faults.

Focused, highly proficient and motivated – delivering Data Center Projects from 1MW to 100MW+, concurrent and fault tolerant facilities, new green field sites to working in Live and Operational Facilities.

Scope

As a Senior CxA (commissioning Agent), CxE (Commissioning Engineer) or CxM (Commissioning Manager) on projects, to include duties such as – Chair meetings, Lead Technical workshops, Manage Mechanical IRL’s on projects.

• Level 4 – Script development and review
• Cx script sign off and approval
• Design Reviews
• RCA (root cause analysis) / Problem Solving
• Make sure that all of the equipment and facilities needed at site is installed correctly and safely, and that it works as expected.
• Testing equipment on site.
• Make improvements to, and offer advice about, operational procedures.
• Create and implement test procedures.
• Investigate problems and diagnose and repair faults.
• Liaise with clients and installation/project engineers.
• Write reports and documentation.
• Provide technical support.
• Ensure safe working conditions.

You will be an EU passport holder and be willing to travel to client sites when required. You will have a technical background within Data Centre commissioning of equipment such as Chilled Water, HVAC and BMS Systems.
