Full-stack Java / Golang & React Developer

A pioneering digital healthtech consultancy based in the South West is seeking a Full-Stack Developer fluent in Java (or Golang) and React to help shape the future of online healthcare. This is not just another coding job; you will join a team behind one of the UK’s most successful online doctor platforms, trusted by over two million patients and integrated with more than 2,000 pharmacies nationwide.

You will operate in a fast-moving environment that delivers real-world impact. The company has recently launched a mobile triage app transforming how general practices assess and direct patients, and is collaborating with ViiV Healthcare on cutting-edge clinical trial platforms, building production-grade tools to accelerate research and improve outcomes. Here, you’ll contribute to the next chapter in digital medicine alongside designers, clinicians, and product leads focused on the user journey and the power of technology to change lives.

• Develop and maintain back-end services using Java (or Golang) and Spring Boot within a microservices architecture.
• Build modern front-end features with React.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, clinicians, product leads) to deliver high-impact software solutions.
• Follow TDD practices and work in an AWS-based environment to deliver production-grade tools.
• Contribute to ongoing enhancements of client platforms (e.g., Lloyds Pharmacy) and related applications.

• Full-stack experience with Java (or Golang) and React is required, with strong back-end (Java/Spring Boot) and front-end skills.
• Experience with microservices, AWS, and TDD.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven track record of building reliable, scalable software in healthcare or healthcare-adjacent domains preferred but not required.

• Salary range: £60k - £65k.
• Fully remote role with bonus eligibility.
• Access to shares in the near future.
