Description
As part of the Professional Services team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality knowledge transfer, training and consultancy that enables customers to get the most from their software. You will work with Support Units, Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs), schools and caterers to help them enhance their software capability and usage, ultimately supporting better educational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers achieve more effective and efficient management practices through better software utilisation.
- Deliver knowledge transfer sessions on a range of ParentPay Group (PPG) software to schools, MATs, caterers and support units, helping maintain and grow our user base.
- As a team, work with Customer Education to ensure that our training and educational resources remain fit for purpose, engaging and reflect current trends in educational settings.
- Maintain a broad understanding of all PPG software to support customers holistically, while developing subject matter expertise in assigned products.
- Stay informed about developments in the education sector to maintain credibility and relevance with customers.
- Provide regular progress updates in weekly reviews, flagging any issues promptly.
- Keep accurate records in relevant business systems.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt delivery to different audiences.
- Experience working in a customer-facing environment, ideally within a school or education setting.
- Good working knowledge of IT and management systems used in schools.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with strong business process awareness.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.
- Experience working with school financial systems and procedures.
- Pro-active positive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Desirable
- Practical experience of delivering training sessions / teaching.
- Use of ParentPay Group products, in particular SIMS Finance or FMS within an education environment.
