We are transforming the world of digital sales and are looking for an energetic Global Sales Operations Manager to join the Strategy and Operations team. Vodafone Business Digital Sales is the inside sales division of Vodafone Business with expertise in connectivity, an IoT platform, secure cloud solutions, and global scale. We are a fast-growing global team driving the #FutureOfSales, using digital sales hubs in Dublin, Valencia and Budapest with remote workers in the UK market. This role works closely with the Digital Sales Leadership team across global hubs and with Sales Operations teams to set the standard for global sales operations support, driving the right sales behaviours through tool adoption and process implementation. You will help Sales Leaders drive sales performance management through setting challenging targets, owning forecasting, delivering insights, and establishing a sales cadence that yields operational efficiency and measurable effectiveness.
- Knowledge of the digital telecommunications and ICT environment, ideally mobile, fixed and IT solutions experience
- Exceptional experience in Sales, Sales Operations, Business Operations, or Customer Support, with experience in defining Go to Market models, Territory Planning & Account Allocation, Forecasting, Target setting, and Commission design; experience implementing new processes, tools and systems is a distinct advantage
- Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders in Enterprise, including senior management and SLT within a matrix organisation
- Depth of operational credibility from customer-facing roles; Lean Sigma or similar quality-driven improvement approaches; experience with IT development houses to define user requirements and developing business cases for investments
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to balance conflicting interests
- Advanced analytical skills with experience in large data sets, corporate data warehouses, Salesforce, Advanced Excel (macros), SQL, Power BI/Tableau or equivalents; experience in designing KPIs and dashboards with Business Analytics teams
- Passion for people development; coaching as a daily standard to grow teams; promoting talent within Digital Sales and across the organisation
- Degree level education required
- Fluent English required; fluency in Spanish or Italian is beneficial
Direct reports: Sales Operations Team Leaders in Dublin; Malaga; Valencia, Rome and Budapest, plus a team of Sales Operations Analysts in the Digital Sales hub where the successful candidate is based
