About this role

Location: Paddington OR Newbury

We are seeking a Cloud Capacity Infrastructure Architect to design and implement strategies for on‑premises and multi‑cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. This role involves leading the end‑to‑end capacity planning lifecycle, including forecasting, modelling, and optimisation of compute, storage, and network resources. Acting as a strategic advisor, you will collaborate with FinOps, DevOps, and Security teams to deliver data‑driven, financially sound, and compliant solutions. You will also drive innovation through automation, AI‑driven insights, and emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure resilience and customer experience.

What you will do
  • Design scalable multi‑cloud and hybrid‑cloud infrastructures.
  • Lead capacity planning for compute, storage, and network across cloud and on‑premises deployments.
  • Forecast and size resources based on usage data and business growth projections.
  • Optimise resource consumption and costs using advanced analytics and automation.
  • Collaborate with FinOps, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure governance and compliance.
Who you are
  • Over 10 years’ experience in cloud infrastructure and/or IT capacity planning.
  • Proven expertise in multi‑cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of performance tuning, forecasting models, and enterprise architecture.
  • Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, or FinOps Practitioner.
  • Skilled in data analysis and visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business insights.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
