Roles and Responsibilities:
- Produce architectural visions and end-to-end designs for Cards Payment Application integration, including acquiring and issuing.
- Coordinate impact assessment activities for proposed solutions.
- Be the steward for one or more capabilities/technologies, setting ongoing roadmaps and directions to ensure all components support and conform to bank standards.
- Ensure project governance aligns with architectural standards and strategy.
- Develop and maintain constructive relationships with senior business stakeholders and peer relationships with CTO and other Transaction Cycle architects.
- Maintain a strong understanding of application API architecture, including RAML, SOAP, etc.
- Gain exposure to Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) design principles, service definition, and web services implementation, including external API exposure.
What we're looking for:
- Significant experience in real-world architecture, defining enterprise-wide technical solutions, documenting, and driving them to delivery.
- Proven experience with application backgrounds and understanding of API architecture, including RAML, SOAP, etc.
- Experience in architecting end-to-end solutions, including software/application architecture and integration.
- Experience migrating from traditional on-premise architectures to cloud-based solutions.
- Competence in executing substantial IT delivery programs from inception to completion.
- Solution and enterprise architect training and certification, e.g., TOGAF or BCS.
- Knowledge of Java and Java Enterprise technologies.
