Key Responsibilities

• UI Development Leadership Lead the design and development of responsive accessible and high performing user interfaces for web and mobile applications
• Technical Expertise Define frontend architecture enforce coding standards and ensure best practices in UI development
• Collaboration Work closely with UX designers' backend developers and product teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Performance Optimization Ensure UI components are optimized for speed scalability and security
• Mentorship Guide and mentor junior developers fostering a culture of technical excellence
• Quality Assurance Conduct code reviews unit testing and ensure compliance with Barclays security and accessibility standards

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript TypeScript HTML5 CSS3 and modern frameworks such as React JS Angular
• Experience in UI architecture design and component-based development
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs microservices integration and cloud platforms AWS Azure
• Knowledge of accessibility standards WCAG and responsive design principles
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Banking Financial Services domain
• Exposure to Agile delivery environments
• Familiarity with CICD pipelines and DevOps practice sets
