About the Role:
This is a permanent job opportunity with one of the Japanese retail companies based in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

Budget Tracking:

· Assist in monitoring project budgets, track expenses, and identify any discrepancies or potential cost overruns.

· Provide regular updates to project managers regarding the financial status of store development projects.

Purchase Orders & Quotes:

· Help obtain quotes from vendors and process purchase orders in a timely manner.

· Ensure that payments for supplies and services are processed efficiently and in accordance with company policies.

Cost Management Support:

· Support in reviewing contracts and maintaining cost-related documentation for accuracy and completeness.

· Assist in preparing reports on project costs and expenses for analysis and decision-making.

Supplier & Contractor Liaison:

· Serve as the point of contact for suppliers, contractors, and other third-party vendors involved in store development projects.

· Coordinate communication and ensure timely responses to inquiries or requests.

Contract Management:

· Help organize and track vendor contracts, ensuring that contract terms are adhered to.

· Monitor and manage contract expiration dates, renewing or negotiating terms as necessary.

Site Selection Support:

· Assist in gathering data on potential store locations, including demographics, traffic patterns, and competitor analysis.

· Compile and summarize site selection reports to assist with decision-making in new store openings.

Market Research Support:

· Assist in researching market trends, customer demographics, and other relevant information to support the development team in strategic decision-making.

· Help gather competitive intelligence and other insights that contribute to store development planning.

Supplier/Product Research:

· Research and identify potential suppliers and materials needed for store development, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

· Assist in evaluating product options to meet the specific needs of the store development projects.

Job Requirements:

· Relevant experience in leasing, vendor/contract management, and the ability to negotiate with mall management

· Ability to speak Japanese is preferred but not required, as it would be useful for liaising with Japanese stakeholders
